Five very talented students from St. Kilian’s recently travelled to Stockholm for the second round of this year’s Jugend Musiziert competition. The students all performed wonderfully and did St. Kilian’s proud.
Congratulations to Leah Fellenz (11th class) and Nora Lawlor (10th class) who each won second prize in the Musical category. Congratulations also to Emanuel Sint (8th class) who won first prize on Bassoon in the Classical competition. Tristan Spellman Molphy, accompanied by Daniel Partridge on piano (both from 9th class), stole the show to win first prize in the Musical category.
Tristan, Daniel and Emanuel have now qualified for the final of Jugend Musiziert which will take place in Lübeck in May. This is a huge achievement and we wish them the very best of luck!
