On Wednesday, March 20th the whole Primary school celebrated Biodiversity Day. We were split into ‘families’ consisting of a few pupils from each class. Each family was given a different animal or plant to do a project on, for example: butterfly, red deer and fly orchid.
In addition to our own project we went outside and we made a nature display, using recycled items brought from home. We also painted stones and made two different types of bird feeders out of clay and old milk cartons. The display outside was a big success and everyone from 1st to 6th class had great fun.
