On Friday 29th November St. Kilian’s students and staff headed to UCD Cinema to watch six short documentaries made by some of our students.
Suzi, Joshua, Nora, Alissa and Lara were involved in a film making project with the Bertold Brecht Gymnasium in Dortmund last year, an initiative run by YOUNG DOGS, an academy for young film makers. The students worked with their peers from the partner school for one week in Dublin and for one week in Dortmund and created six wonderful documentaries on the overall topic of “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”.
Well done to all students involved and a big thank you to Ms Kavanagh who has been facilitating this project and other film projects at St. Kilian’s over the past years. Thank you also to Vera Schöpfer from YOUNG DOGS for making St. Kilian’s part of this fantastic German-Irish project.
