On the TY Evening the students present to their parents what they have achieved through Transition Years. We had wonderful acts starting off with a Human Rights presentation (combined module for LFI and St. Kilian’s) showing the videos and art work the students have created over the past year to raise awareness on refugees and homelessness.
Later was a musical performance to Life On Mars sung by Tristan Spellman Molphy and piano played by Daniel Partridge. Afterwards we had a dance to the Backstreet Boys followed by a talk about the Hamburg Exchange. After that, a rap group performed their own song called “Celebrate” and a Breaktime-Worldcup award show hosted by Isaac and Hubert. We then watched the movie called “Mission Quite Difficult”, created by students during their film module and finished off by singing ‘With or Without You’ by U2 together.
Afterwards there were drinks and snacks in the canteen where all the parents and students got to chat and mingle.
