At the end of November a beautiful Christmas letterbox appeared in our Assembly area of the Primary School and it was put to very good use: each pupil was encouraged to make a card for someone who might appreciate a little extra Christmas cheer this year and to think of others in their community.
Pupils took to the task enthusiastically and lovely Christmas cards were sent to nursing homes, hospitals, local shops, Garda stations and to other frontline workers in our local area.
Thank you to Ms Bowen for organising this lovely initiative and to all the pupils for taking part.
