Chess Competition in aid of the Capuchin Day Centre for the homeless

On the last day of school before the Christmas break, some of our Secondary students took part in a Chess Competition to raise funds for the Capuchin Day Centre for the homeless (Brother Kevin). We had a total of 9 groups competing against each other in 6 rounds. Oisin Harnett (10th class) Matthieu Fulhaber (9D) and Miroslaw Schwarz (9C) made the final round with Oisin taking the prize at the end. Congratulations Oisin and well done to all Chess players. A big thank you to all participants and especially Miro and Matthieu for their great effort in organising the event!
