We could not hold our annual fundraiser ‘Christmas Bazaar’ this year again, but we had Santa visiting St. Kilian’s German School Dublin on December 16th and 17th and he was very busy meeting around 300 excited children from Kindergarten up to 6th Class in Primary School. We also had some teachers over who came to say hello to Santa and to let him know that they have been good this year too. This time we had Santa visiting our school over two days to allow the children more time with Santa and we have brought in a Grotto to make the visit more special.
We have also organised a Christmas Raffle for the entire school to participate and will announce the lucky winners on Monday, 20th December. Thank you to all parents, students, teachers and staff who supported this initiative and best of luck winning one of the many great prizes we have in the Raffle this year. The funds from this event are always used to buy new items required for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary school.
A big thank you goes to Olivia Scully, Juliette O’Grady, Jonathan Kelly and Ian Blake who organised this fundraiser and of course to our Santa! Thank you also to our TY students Amy and Aifric for being wonderful elves, helping to coordinate Santa’s visit this year!
