November 9th is a very important day in German history with few memorable events. While we celebrate the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, we also commemorate the ‘Reichsprogromnacht’, also known as the ‘Reichskristallnacht’. November 9, 1938 was a particularly dark day in our history. This day marks the organized persecution of Jews in Nazy Germany.
Ms Dr. Baum Sheridan and our DSD students have put together a small exhibition with information on this topic. The exhibition can be visited in the German Department.
