St. Kilian’s is delighted to be awarded their 5th Green Flag for Biodiversity this morning by Green Schools Ireland. The primary and Kindergarten schools, and the Green School Committee have been working around the Biodiversity theme for the last two years. The children have created a garden, organised a biodiversity exhibition, reduced general waste and enhanced recycling just to name few. Thanks to that hard work led by Ms Thielemans, St. Kilian’s was successful in securing the Green Flag for Biodiversity last June. A Green Flag Award ceremony has been organised by Green Schools Ireland, attended online by some motivated 5th and 6th class pupils, ready to work towards our next green goal. Congratulations and well done!
