Boys from 5th and 6th class represented Kilian’s wonderfully at the Duel in the Pool Swimming Competition hosted by Willow Park School in Blackrock College on Wednesday, 18th of May 2022 . The boys gave their best against more experienced swimmers and came very close to taking home some individual medals to go with their bronze medals from their team medley relay and team freestyle relay.
The boys show great energy as many of them competed in 3 or 4 individual events and a relay race. They showed great respect for the organisers of the tournament and for their fellow competitors.
Unfortunately there was not a girls competition this year although there are plans for a girls competition next year.
