Today we celebrate International Women’s Day with a sporting theme. While many female international sports stars are recognised, we also acknowledge our own female sports stars in St Kilian’s. A big thank you to Amy Scully, 11th class, who gave a wonderful Jujitsu demonstration and showed us all her amazing trophies, to Isabel Horrigan, 6th class, who spoke beautifully about her love for tennis and Elizabeth Murphy, an Irish Hockey goalkeeper who couldn’t be with us in person but sent us a great video about her career thus far. All of the above inspired our students to never give up on their dreams, to believe in yourself and you can achieve!
