We always look forward to Maths Week here in St. Kilian’s and this year was no different. This year’s Maths Week took place from 15-23 October 2022 and all of the children engaged in fun activities and games – all with mathematical concepts as a focus. There was great variety, from sophisticated bar charts from 4th Class to 5A taking part in the online Maths Week Mega Quiz with Franz Schlindwein – but the highlight most definitely was having Maths Meets with parents from 2nd and 3rd. On four mornings the parents joined their child and his or her class in the assembly area for activities using Bee Bots, tangrams, dart boards and more. Great fun was had by all. Thank you to Ms. O’Brien, Frau Cremin, Ms Dodd, Ms McKiernan and especially Ms James for the organisation and planning.
