Congratulations to our young authors from Class 4B and Ms O’Brien for receiving their first published book. 4B took part in the ‘Story Seeds’ workshop and as a class they wrote a chapter of the book. Their stories are included in an anthology, to which other primary school children also contributed (only one class per school are permitted to take part). On Tuesday, 22nd of March 2022, the children were surprised by a representative from Fighting Words along with two members of the Garda Community Engagement Unit from DMR South Central Community Policing, who presented the finished books to the class. Each child received their own copy of the published book and even got it signed individually. What a lovely surprise!
