St. Kilian’s students truly do get the opportunity to participate in a very wide range of sports. On Wednesday morning, March 15th, two teams of boys and girls from 4th, 5th and 6th Classes in Primary School and a group of Eurocampus Junior Cycle students (three St. Kilian’s and one LFI student) headed off to Awesome Walls with their teachers Ms. Collins and Ms. Gotthardt to compete in the 5th Irish Schools Climbing Competition 2023. It is a competition in which our students traditionally do very well. This was no different this time as our students achieved very high results and scored full points in all four different climbing challenges. All our climbers gave a wonderful account of themselves and were thrilled to be in such good form. In few weeks we will hear whether we have reached the final. The two highest scoring teams and individuals from each category in both Dublin and Cork will be invited to compete in the Grand Final in Awesome Walls Dublin on April 27th. Fingers crossed and thank you to Ms. Collins and Ms Gotthardt for organising. Well done to all involved!
