We had an exciting last week as we welcomed the inspectors from the Bund-Länder-Inspektion 3.0. for the first time to St. Kilian’s. We are delighted to announce that St. Kilian’s successfully completed the inspection and was awarded the quality seal “Excellent German School Abroad”. The Bund-Länder-Inspektion is conducted by the German government and has already entered its third cycle 3.0. For a week the inspectors from Germany systematically reviewed our school’s work based on different criteria, standards and features, also considering its pedagogical and non-educational areas. They visited 61 lessons, conducted interviews with pupils, parents and teachers, the school’s administrative staff and the Board of Management. On Friday afternoon, the inspectors presented the results and concluded that our school has met most of the quality standards and thus has earned the quality seal “Excellent German School Abroad”. We are now awaiting a detailed written report from the German Government which will be shared in the next few weeks, before the certificate will be officially presented to St. Kilian’s by the German Ambassador. We are already looking forward to the ceremony. Congratulations to the entire St. Kilian’s community on such fantastic achievement!
