As part of our annual exchange programme with the Liebfrauenschule, a group of students from 8th Class spent an exciting week in Cologne and the surrounding area. Activities included a visit to the impressive Cologne Cathedral, a city rally, a tour of the University of Bonn, a visit to the Beethoven Birthplace and House and an eventful day at the Phantasialand amusement park. In the city of Bonn, the students did not miss the opportunity to stop at the famous Haribo shop and sample the many Haribo flavours. Thank you to the host families for a warm welcome, to the Liebfrauenschule for the opportunity to experience a typical school day at a German Gymnasium and to all teachers for organising and accompanying the students. It was an eventful week enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to the return visit in September.
