St. Kilian’s German School Dublin is hosting its annual Open Day on Saturday 12th October 2024 from 11am-1pm and is inviting all prospective and interested parents and students to visit our school, meet our teachers and students and enjoy a tour around our fantastic campus and modern facilities. Find out what makes St. Kilian’s Deutsche Schule stand out in the Irish educational landscape and get the opportunity to ask questions to our school leaders and teachers from Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School.
Knowledge of German not a requirement for enrolment into Kindergarten (Junior Infant) to 6th Class nor into 7th Class (1st Year Secondary School).

Shamrock Hall
Upon arrival, we kindly ask you to register in the Shamrock Hall, our multipurpose hall on the left-hand side as coming down towards the car park. You will receive some information material and will get the opportunity to meet the School Management and Secondary teachers from different departments, who are happy to share subject related information and answer your questions.
There will also be presentations to parents by the school management.
The talks schedule is as follows:
11:10pm Welcome – Frau Meier, Principal
11.25pm Primary School & Kindergarten (Junior Infants) talk – Ms Black, Head of Primary School & Kindergarten (Acting)
12pm Secondary School – Mr Macmillan, Secondary School Principal
12.15pm 1st year Secondary School Induction talk – Ms Farrelly, 1st year (7th Class) Induction
Assembly Area in Primary School
Subject teachers and staff from Primary School and Kindergarten (Junior Infants) will be in the Assembly area. There will be students and teachers in front of the Shamrock Hall guiding you to the Primary School/Kindergarten premises.
Tours
Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the school premises and to see the facilities. We will offer separate tours around both the Primary School/Kindergarten and our Secondary School. There will be no allocated timeslots for tours. Tours will be ongoing depending on interest. The starting/meeting point for tours for both Secondary and Primary School/Kindergarten will be in front of the Shamrock Hall. There will be tour signs and student helpers, who will provide directions.
Parking
There is parking available on the school grounds. However, we recommend using public transport or arriving early as Open Days tend to be very busy and parking might become limited.
