Congratulations to our 18 Sek I 2024 Graduates, among those many non-native German speakers, who successfully completed the Sek I-programme after a six-year journey through the Sek I-curriculum and have been awarded their MSA Certificates yesterday, 16th of May 2024. Like last year, the best student is once again someone whose native language is English and who learnt German at St Kilian’s. Congratulations to Michael (10C) who achieved the best results and was awarded the Sek I Perpetual Trophy. A big thank you to Mr Henneberg, the Cultural Attaché at the German Embassy, for his congratulative speech and the presentation of the certificates to the students. It was Mr Henneberg’s last official assignment at St. Kilian’s Deutsche Schule Dublin as he is transferring back to Germany to continue his career at the Foreign Office in Berlin. We wish him all the best for his future and cannot thank him enough for his dedication and support over the last years. We would also like to extend our thanks to all the Sek I teachers who have guided and supported the students throughout their Sek I journey and to Hazel (9C) and Sarah (11A) for their wonderful musical contributions on the evening. Well done to all on such remarkable achievement!
