On Friday, 13th of December 2024, St. Kilian’s triumphed against Maynooth Post Primary in the All-Ireland Cup Semi-Final at the National Basketball Arena, winning with a score of 56-44. From the start, St. Kilian’s set the tone and established great control of the game, thanks to the play of Prosper, Joris and Sebastian, who scored an impressive 39 points and was named the game’s MVP (Most Valuable Player).
A big thank you to all the parents and supporters who came along and gave the boys the extra motivation they needed to succeed, with a special shoutout to the 9th Class girls for making great signs and chants that inspired the team.
The boys are now in the All-Ireland Final against O’Carolan College Nobber from County Meath on January 23rd at 11am in the National Basketball Arena. Congratulations and the best of luck for the finals!
