Who says Maths can not be fun? Members of the St. Kilian’s Maths Club can vouch for the fun element of Mathematics. Run by Lisa Malibet, the Maths Club has blown the popular misconception that Maths is hard and only for nerds. Yes, it is challenging, but the Maths Club challenges students to experience Maths in everyday situations and from a perspective from outside the classroom. If you are interested in Maths and like a challenge, then why not come along and try it out. Cool Nerds are also welcome! Time and day will be posted on the school notice boards at the start of each year.
Our Maths students continue to significantly outperform their peers. Every year we enjoy success at the National Mathematics Olympiad and the Maths Club has certainly helped enhance the profile and performance of our students.
For the school year 2015-16, Maths Club will take place on Wednesdays from 16:05-17:05 in the Computer Room. Also check the school notice board for updates!
