Book Lists & Sports Uniform
Book Lists for School Year 2024/25
The German school books which are published by German publishers for both Primary and Secondary School can be ordered online via German bookstore Stritter on www.stritter.de. The website is in German but you can download instructions in English here.
If you place your order with Stritter by 16th July 2024, the books can be delivered free of charge to the school and will be distributed by the class teacher during the first week of school. Alternatively, you can opt to have them delivered directly to your address (€16.90 postage) any time.
All other school books can be purchased either online or at any book shop in Ireland that sells school books, such as Opening Minds, Schoolbooks.ie or Easons.
Arts & Craft supplies can be purchased at any supplier, such as Opening Minds.
Sports Uniform 2024/25
Following some consultation with our newly formed Sports Committee (made up of Secondary students and next year will include 6th class students) we have decided to change the brand of our PE/Sports uniform as of school year 2024/2025.
We have done this in consultation with the Sports Committee to ensure all Primary & Secondary students wear the uniform when participating in PE lessons and extra-curricular activities and matches as stated in the school’s policy. It is also encouraged that those students who are participating in Sport ECAs to purchase the jacket too, which is a heavier, warmer material than the previous rain jacket especially for the winter month fixtures.
The supplier remains Uniformity and the prices are very similar to the previous kit. We also like to highlight that this is very much a phase-in process so no student is expected to buy the new kit if their current one still fits, that is very much your decision but when buying new kit it will be the new brand. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Required sports uniform in Primary School:
- Black St. Kilian’s PE T-Shirt (logo on the back)
- Black & Red Hockey top (with the option for your name on the back)
- Red St. Kilian’s mid-layer top (1/4 zip)
- Black St. Kilian’s jacket
- Black St. Kilian’s shorts
- Black St. Kilian’s tracksuit bottoms or leggings
- Hockey stick, mouth guard, shin guards and long red sports socks compulsory for 3rd-6th class
- Hockey kit (hockey top, socks, skort etc.) is only required for children who do after school hockey / league teams (5th and 6th class)
Required sports uniform for Secondary School (classes 7-12):
- Black St. Kilian’s PE T-shirt (logo on the back)
- Black & Red Hockey top (with the option for your name on the back)
- Red St. Kilian’s mid-layer top (1/4 zip)
- Black St. Kilian’s jacket
- Black St. Kilian’s shorts
- Black St. Kilian’s tracksuit bottoms or leggings
- Hockey kit (hockey top, socks, skort etc.) is only required for pupils who represent the school in the Hockey Leagues. The black jacket, used for PE, is also part of the hockey kit.
In Kindergarten and Vorschule no sports uniform is required.
